Instant
Remote Support is a service for existing SystemSense Client
Organizations.
By following the instructions below, SystemSense Engineers
will be able to
support your internet connected computer, by way of
direct access to the monitor output
of your computer, and the keyboard and mouse.
If you are
having problems with Instant Remote Support, or your computer
cannot achieve an internet connection,
please contact support.
In order for Remote Support
to work, you must follow these instructions carefully.
Once you have done so, we will be able to help you as
required.
1. click here to download and install the Remote Support program.
(if a dialogue box appears,
just click OPEN or RUN, but NOT SAVE.
This way the software will download and run automatically.
click YES if any security warnings appear.)
2. A dialogue box will
appear with many tick boxes etc. will appear.
Don't change any of this, just click
in the PASSWORD box, which is in the top left of the dialogue
box.
Type 123 in the password box,
and then type 123 again in the password(view only) box, which
is beneath it.
3. You will now see a 'V icon' appear in your System Tray (by the clock, bottom right of desktop).
4. Right Click that 'V icon',
and select Add New Client from the menu which appears,
with a left click.
9. In the box type www.systemsense.co.uk
10. An Engineer will now be able to see your screen, and operate your keyboard and mouse.
